Regulatory and Compliance
Plaze adheres to all rules and regulations that regulate our products and our industry. From state and regional organizations to national and international agencies, each product is carefully formulated, manufactured and labeled so that it is compliant for its intended use. Plaze implements and follows good manufacturing practices and adheres to all governing regulations ensuring we meet all standards.
Plaze makes safety a priority. We have rigid standards and practices in our manufacturing process to ensure the safety of our employees. We are also concerned that the products we produce are safe for use by our customers, their customers and the environment. From product development, to manufacturing, quality assurance and delivery, safety for employees, customers, end-users and the environment is a primary concern.
Quality Control and Assurance
Plaze is committed to achieving and maintaining the highest quality in our products and in our manufacturing processes. In fact, quality is part everything we do.
Beginning with the raw materials used in our products, throughout formulation, manufacturing and production, and ending when the final product is shipped, quality controls are in place at every stage of the process.
As part of our food safety management program, Plaze manufacturing facilities that produce food products comply with
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Points (HACCP), a globally recognized system used to identify, reduce or eliminate potential food safety hazards
- As part of our food safety management program, Plaze complies with all regulations and guidelines, and in particular as they pertain to our food manufacturing areas, in strict accordance with Safe Quality Foods (SQF) 2000 Level 2 certification, a global certification program conducted according to the Safe Quality Foods Institute Food Safety and Quality Codes. Our Plaze facilities involved with food products and packaging will have Safe Quality Foods (SQF) 2000 Level 2 certification by the end of Summer 2013.
